Firearms Instructor, Terry Young

From Battlefield to Badge: A Journey Forged in Service

Terry's story is one of dedication and resilience. His service in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam shaped his understanding of discipline, responsibility, and the importance of preparation for any situation. During his time on the front lines, Terry honed his skills with iconic firearms like the Colt Model 1911, the M-1 Garand, and the .50 caliber machine gun. These experiences left an indelible mark, instilling in him a deep respect for the power and responsibility that comes with handling firearms.

Fifteen Years of Keeping Communities Safe

Following his time in the Navy, Terry served for fifteen years in law enforcement. This period further refined his shooting skills and broadened his expertise to include weapons like the S&W N-Frame .357 pistol, the 9mm semi-automatic pistol, and the 12-gauge shotgun. His firsthand experience dealing with critical situations and firearms in the line of duty instilled in him a passion for responsible gun ownership and the importance of providing effective training to future generations.
